Rotary Draw Bending

Rotary Draw Bending

Rotary draw bending is one of the versatile pipe bending methods that frequently used by most tube and pipe fabrication companies and some related industries. Normally the bending radius that we can do is great than or equal to 1.5D, which means the minimum bending radius that we can do is 1.5 times outside diameter. But if you are required for the bending radius below 1.5D, we need to check your pipe bending details with our engineer specifically and then find out the best solution for you.

Rotary draw bending toolset involves: bend die, clamp die, pressure die, wiper die, and mandrel, Each of the tooling cooperated with each other during the process in order to get a perfect bending result. The mandrel inside the tube to prevent collapse and the wiper die can effectively prevent wrinkled. The push bending function can be added to the machine if your pipe bends require that.

Rotary draw bender can finish the complicated bending job, the bends part will become thinner and under compression, so the toolset is very important, or else it will cause bending failure. The pressure on the bends couldn’t too much or too little, or the tube bending could not reach the ideal bending status, that is why we will debug the machine before delivering it to your hand. So, please advise your tube or pipe material, thickness, bending radius, thickness, tolerance, and your pipe or tube drawing. It’s much better if you can also provide the yield strength, tensile strength, and ductility.

Rotary draw bending can bend thin wall pipe and finish small bending radius requests.
