Plug Mandrel Bender

Kinked Bends and Buckled Bends are 2 common tube bending issues and always, the plug mandrel bender is the solution for the 2 problems.

Plug Mandrel Bender

The reason for kinked or buckled bends

If you bending material is too hard to compress on the inside radius of the bend, then your bending tube may occur kinking or buckling during the bending process. Due to the material is too hard, the lack of compression forces the bending material toward the center line of the tube.

How to solve this issue?

Kinked bends and buckled bends are similar to other tube bending issues, they can be easily solved by setting up the proper tube bending tooling. So never ignore the importance of pipe bending tooling for bending machines.

But, sometimes the issues still exist, then the plug mandrel is always the solution.

Why plug mandrel bender?

A plug mandrel is cheap but is the solution for you to prevent tube flattening while bending without wrinkles or kinks. A mandrel is always a good solution for you to solve kinked bends or buckled bends issues. When you bending the hard material, it will support the material through the bend.
