How Mandrel Tube Bending Benefit Your Tube and Pipe Fabrication
There are various kinds of tube benders on the market and today we are going to talk about how mandrel tube bending benefit your tube and pipe fabrication. As we can see around us, there are a lot of industries that need to bend pipes and tubes in different materials. For example exhaust system, furniture industry, gym equipment, and aerospace.
The Benefit of Mandrel Tube Bending
If you have changed your manual tube bending tool to mandrel tube bending machine, you must have benefited from the advantage of mandrel tube bending during the bending process which could ensure a smooth bending result.
Before bending, the mandrel was put into the pipe. During bending, the pipe was pulled by the machine head or we can say pipe bending die, and the mandrel was held in a fixed position. After bend, the force acting on the mandrel supports the inner radius and holds it firmly to the bending die groove.
Most of our mandrel tubing bender supplied to our customers are equipped with wiper die. Normally, when a customer requires thin wall tube bending or tight bending, the bending material is very easy to deform due to compression, the wiper die could prevent the inner radius from been wrinkled.
In a word, mandrel bending could prevent the most common problems during pipe and tube fabrication and provide the ideal bending result.
